This is myself riding a demo of the new module 1 motorcycle test. You will have seen in the media the problems involved regarding safety and injury. So how dangerous is it? Decide for yourself. I am a very experienced motorcycle instructor and of course I can do this test. However….. When doing the much talked about swerve test I need to use all of my skills and experience and to be honest it is awkward. In a novice hands I believe it is very dangerous and even more so in the wet.
